The intrepid Blythweb photographer shifts a little nearer the parapet on the roof of the tower of St.Peter's church to obtain this view of Wenhaston Village Hall. This large Hall was built by true village effort in 1975 under the co-ordination of Wenhaston Community Council (1971-2006) and has proved a popular venue since. See its own webpage on www.wenhaston.net for interior photos and information. Nowadays the Hall houses the village Post Office and hosts both the village sign and a Queen's Jubilee tree (2002) in its grounds in addition to its own lovely oak tree. The working sundial can just be seen on the end wall, placed there by Wenhaston Community Council to mark both the millennium and the Hall's silver anniversary in the year 2000.
