Wenhaston Allotment and Leisure Gardeners Association (WALGA)

WALGA is located on a modest strip of land at the further end of Narrow Way, Wenhaston. An impressive variety of vegetables and fruit for home consumption, as well as flowers, have been produced here from shortly after the Association's formation on 2nd June 2008. There were originally fourteen productive plots which have been worked on,  improved, and enjoyed by young and old from the village. A communal shed and polytunnel for use by allotment holders was funded by a National Lottery grant. A waiting list for vacant allotments is in operation when appropriate.
